Frontline Plus Orange comprises two powerful active ingredients, fipronil and s-methoprene. After application, the composition is spread throughout the dog's body and is stored in the sebaceous glands which slowly replenish formula onto the skin and coat. Fipronil kills fleas and ticks by causing stimulation in the parasite's nervous system. S-methoprene restrains the insect's growth and prevents eggs from growing into adults.
