Interceptor for dogs is a tasty, flavored broad-spectrum treatment that prevents heartworm disease while protecting against a range of intestinal worms. This monthly formula is recommended for use in 4 weeks and older puppies and dogs, weighing at least 2 lbs.

Interceptor Multi-Worm Treatment

Interceptor for Dogs contains a powerful endoparasiticide milbemycin oxime. A single dose of Interceptor Flavored Tabs for dogs prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. The formula controls adult hookworms; and removes and controls adult roundworms and whipworm infections in puppies and dogs. Interceptor worm treatment for dogs is formed in small, tasty tablets loved and readily accepted by dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Interceptor contains milbemycin oxime, whereas Interceptor Plus contains milbemycin oxime and praziquantel. Interceptor protects against heartworms, roundworms, hookworms and whipworms whereas Interceptor Plus protects against heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms.

What should I do if my dog throws up after taking Interceptor?

If your dog throws up soon after giving Interceptor, give a whole new dose. In the case the dog vomits after four or more hours, consult with a vet about whether to redose or not.

Are there any risks associated with giving Interceptor to pregnant or nursing dogs?
