Avert bitter Solution is a strong bitterant for treating behaviors like unnecessary licking, chewing or biting in dogs, horses, cats and birds. It is extremely bitter and discourages pets from chewing, biting, and licking wounds, bandages, stitches and household items. In birds, it helps to discourage feather-plucking. It also helps to discourage horses from crib-biting or wind-sucking. Avert bitter solution is absolutely safe and can be re-applied as soon as the animal starts the undesired licking or biting behavior again. It is non-toxic and does not harm animals when used regularly.
Avert Bitter Solution is an efficient bitterant. The topical solution is contains - Denatonium Benzoate, which is the most bitter chemical compound. Avert has been designed to be extremely bitter and to linger on the applied surface for hours. When applied on the surface, it works effectively in discouraging the pet from licking or chewing that part. It is not recommended to spray the solution in the air or any soft furnishings as the taste will be difficult to remove. If needed to be applied on the soft furnishings, Avert bitter solution should be applied by dabbing over the area only. In case, undesired behavior resumes due to the product been washed off or worn out, it can be re-applied without any side effects.
Dogs & Cats:
Apply to the areas or surfaces to be protected and repeat as required.
Birds:
Apply on the affected areas of bird’s plumage or dressing.
Horses:
