Simparica Trio works by utilizing three proven ingredients, sarolaner, moxidectin and pyrantel to provide comprehensive protection for dogs. Moxidectin and pyrantel helps effectively prevents heartworm disease and treats and controls roundworms and hookworms, specifically targeting immature adult and adult Toxocara canis, adult Toxascaris leonina, L4, immature adult, and adult Ancylostoma caninum, and adult Uncinaria stenocephala. Furthermore, sarolaner works swiftly to kill adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and used for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations, as well as the treatment and control of tick infestations with Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), Amblyomma maculatum (Gulf Coast tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick) for one month.

Dosage:
Simparica Trio is administered orally once a month at the recommended minimum dose of 0.54 mg/lb (1.2 mg/kg) sarolaner, 0.011 mg/lb (24 µg/kg) moxidectin, and 2.27 mg/lb (5 mg/kg) pyrantel (as pamoate salt).

My dog is protected from multiple threats
We use to give Simparica Trio and Hartguard but this is a great way to remember and pay less for protection. We have a 7-year-old Lab and a 5-month-old Lab. They both seem to do fine, no side effects. We have seen NO fleas or ticks and it's nice to be able to give this to them on the 1st of the month and not worry about it. They take it fine. We've been using this for about 4 months now.
